Light is not dark to you

Darkness is all around us.

We can’t escape it.

It surrounds to us like thick, billowing smoke.

It’s overwhelming.

Sometimes it’s suffocating from within.

From secrets we carry.

Shame from our past.

Those places only He knows about.

Those things we carry scars from.

Sometimes it’s the world we live in.

The heaviness of tragedy and injustice.

Every day seems to bring another horrific event.

How did this darkness get so thick?

But can I tell you something?

Our God only knows light.

He only brings light.

Darkness isn’t dark to Him.

The night is as bright as the day.

To cut through the darkness we experience, whether outside or within, we NEED the light.

Everything is exposed in the light.

Fear flees when light is shining upon it.

We see in front of us CLEARLY when light comes.

Invite the Light of the World to shine brightly in the darkness around you.

With Him, darkness has no power.
